Babies are Born Brave
We are a community that comes together to support one another and their journeys in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
The NICU is sometimes a scary place but it’s where a lot of miracles happen.

NICU Brave is a community where parents of babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units can come together and support each other. Lift each other up when they are feeling a huge weight on them. We are passionate about bringing support to families whose babies are in the NICU due to premature birth or other underlying health issues. We are in the spirit of bringing joy to those babies as they are in need of a little extra magic. Care packages are made by volunteers and gifted by generous donors.
NICU Brave’s mission is to be the hope and light of every infant in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units where we can support families through their journey in the NICU.
How You Can Help
You can give online so easily. When you make a donation, it makes it possible for us to be the light and make care packages for families that have babies in the NICU. We also donate to a few PICUs as well.
Have some toiletries or other care package items you would like to donate? Please contact us and we will coordinate with you.
Lend a hand and make some hearts. Are you crafty? We are always in need of some squishy hearts to give to babies. Just a little something to show that there is always love with them.
We would love to share your story of your journey in the NICU. Everyones story is different, but we all connect on a common ground when we walk the hospital halls in the NICU. Where we “scrub in” to protect our little ones.
About Our Logo
The logo of the pink and blue feet was drawn and designed by Maraiah Dela Cruz, the Founder of NICU Brave. The feet were drawn from photos of her son’s feet. Pink and Blue to represent all of the baby boys and baby girls that experienced a journey in the NICU. The feet were placed in a shape of a heart to show the love that the parents have for their babies.
Another variation of our logo was also drawn and designed by Maraiah Dela Cruz with hands wrapped around the baby feet in a shape of a heart.
